When printing New Year's cards, it would be a problem if the printer ran out of ink... but in Tokyo...
In Japan, there is a custom of writing greetings at the beginning of the year called 'nengajo'.
Every year, I try to send out New Year's cards by December 25th at the end of the year.
As always, some kind of trouble occurs when printing New Year's cards.
This year, the printer's "black" ink runs out...
Still, I live in Tokyo, so the ink will arrive at my house by the evening of the day at the fastest.
I don't have to go all the way to the home electronics store by myself, so it's helpful. In other words, you can avoid wasting time.
Thus, by tomorrow, the 25th, which is the "deadline" that I have decided, I will be able to complete the printing and post it.
In that sense, it is good to prepare New Year's cards early. You have time to deal with when you run out of ink or your printer breaks down.
